STATEMENT OF FAITH

I believe the bible to be the absolute, final authority in all matters of faith and practice. This “bible” is the authorized version of 1611 and has been preserved by God (Psa. 12:6,7) infallible and perfect for the English speaking people of today.

I believe that a man or woman is saved by God’s grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on Calvary. Apart from this no one can be saved and is bound for eternity in a lake of fire. Eph. 2:8,9 ;John 14:6. Baptism has nothing to do with salvation but is only a figure of the already saved person’s death, burial and resurrection with Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 3:21.

I believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was God manifest in the flesh and is equal with God. 1 Tim. 3:16; Phil. 2:5,6.

I believe in the eternal security of the believer as being part of the body of Jesus Christ. John 10:28; Rom. 8:38,39.

I believe in the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ to be a literal, physical return to set up his kingdom on this earth and sit on a literal throne of David as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Acts 1:11; Revelation 19; Luke 1:32,33.

I believe in a literal Hell with a literal fire that burns forever and is the home for the Christ rejecting sinner. The final abode for Hell will be the Lake of Fire. Revelation 20:14,15.

I believe that Heaven is a literal place and is the final resting place for the saved child of God. In Heaven there will be no more sin, suffering, sickness or any other problems but rather is a place of worship and praise directed toward the Lamb of God. Rev.4.

I believe that the child of God has been delivered from this present, evil world and should therefore live a sanctified life for the pleasure of the Lord Jesus Christ. Rom.12:1,2; Gal. 1:4; 2 Cor. 6:14-18.
