We at Bible Baptist Church believe that...
1. The Bible has been preserved for us in our language. Psalms 12:6,7 "The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever."
2. Jesus Christ was God manifest in flesh. 1 Timothy 3:16 "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
3. Good works have no part in our salvation. Ephesians 2:8,9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God; Not of works, lest any man should boast."
4. Eternal security of the believer is based on the fact that he is part of the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:30 "For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones."
5. Jesus Christ is soon coming again for His bride and that after this Daniel's 70th week will take place. When all is said and done he will run the kingdoms of this world as King of Kings. Revelation 1:15 "And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters."
Mission: Our goal is to have a church that does not revolve around social status in the community or recreational programs. We believe that the King James Bible is of such a grand design that, when it is preached and taught, it will be far better than modern entertainment. We do understand that there is a need for periodic social programs for all ages, especially youth, and these are provided and enjoyed. We seek to please The Lord Jesus Christ who saved us from Hell. We want to hear Him, watch for Him and wait for him. (Proverbs 8:34)
